Integrated Policy of Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment - DESLER S.A.
DESLER S.A., at its Industrial Plant located in Malvinas Argentinas, is committed to develop its activities related to transport and treatment of special waste, non-special waste, and pathogenic waste, according to this Policy which is being widely spread.
To this end, Desler actively works and collaborates with scientific institutions, universities, governmental authorities and the community in general for the development of projects and actions oriented to the preservation of the environmental quality as a well as the health and safety of its staff, contractors, and neighbor communities.
Hence, the highest Management stipulates the following: :
- Comply with the National, Provincial and Municipal Legislation currently in force as well as with those international treaties of which Argentine is signatory, and the commitments assumed by DESLER S.A.
- Comply with and promote the principles and practices of the “Environment Responsible Care Program.”
- Keep an Integrated Management System based on ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Standards.
- Define objectives and goals related to Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment for all levels in order to promote and ensure the tendency towards a continuous improvement and towards meeting customer’s requirements as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Periodically evaluate the performance of the environment, processes, health and safety of all Plant and Transport activities by means of environmental monitoring programs, prevention of accidents and occupational diseases, and measurement of the quality of service.
- Provide training courses for the staff, suppliers and contractors as regards occupational health, safety and environment in order to ensure the commitment to the prevention of injuries and accidents related to risks inherent to the company’s activities.
- Keep a clear and transparent communication about the priority environmental aspects of the Plant and Transport activities thus promoting the environmental awareness of the community, customers, suppliers, and employees.
- Develop and use technologies which enable to evaluate, prevent and reduce as least as possible the environmental impacts and health risks and which in turn ensure high quality standards in the rendering of the service by means of the implementation of standardized procedures.
