IPES starts its activities in the year 1994 by Biodegradación (Landfarming) as a Center to Dispose and Treat Organic Waste and received Environmental Aptitude certificate nº 92 in accordance with law nº 11.459 – decree nº 1741/96 as a Final disposition of hazardous waste center (Secure landfill).

Landfarming

This is the treatment of organic residue through natural biodegradation.  This system is used throughout the world and especially treats biodegradable fluids that come from the food industry such as meat processing plants,  hydrocarbon mud from the petrol industry, the chemical  industry and gas stations,  hydrocarbon contaminated land, providing assistance in the case of environmental accidents occurring because of these substances.

Landfill

Is a technology for the final disposition of special waste, a permanent storage that is a last resource.  The construction principals must insure safe waste containment in order to avoid contact with the environment as well as guarantee permanent and perpetual control.
