IPES S.A. located in, Paraje La Vitícola, Provincia de Buenos Aires, , is committed to developing special waste, non special and pathogenic waste transportation and treatment activities accordingly.
In view of this, IPES S.A. works and actively collaborates with scientific institutions, universities, governmental authorities and the community in general to develop projects and actions in order to preserve the environment as well as it’s personnel’s’, contractor’s and neighboring community’s health and safety.
IPES S.A. stores, treats through Biodegradación (landfarming) and performs final disposition (landfill) of special and non-special industrial waste. The center also transports industrial waste. Its commitment to preserve the environment turns the following objectives into facts:
- Complying with current National, Provincial and Municipal legislation as well as international treaties to which Argentina is signatory as well as the commitments undersigned by IPES S.A.
- Set environmental objectives and goals so that all the operations constantly improve their environmental performance.
- Implement and maintain a management system in accordance with ISO 14001.
- Evaliate, prevent and reduce possible environmental impacts a new project may have to a minimum.
- Prevent and minimize emission and releases of toxins into the air, ground and water.
- Periodic environmental evaluations of all the center’s activities through environmental monitoring programs and emission testing.
- Training an committing personnel in order to prevent work related risks and teach them about environmental protection.
- Marinating clear and transparent communication on vital environmental issues related to the Center to insure the community’s, clients’ suppliers’ and employees’ environmental consciousness.
- Operate facilities saving natural resources such as energy.
- Use technologies to evaluate, prevent, and reduce to a minimum possible environmental impacts by implementing standardized processes.
- Carrying out this environmental policy in order to assure permanent environmental care.
