Autoclave - Pathogenic Waste

Infectious pathogenic waste is sterilized by autoclave to destroy any form of life such as a virus.  This technology transforms pathogenic waste into waste that is similar to urban waste.  

The treatment mentioned earlier is used to sterilize clinical  waste coming from medical attention in hospitals and clinics. 

Autoclave installed in Desler in Bondtech and can treat 1 ton per hour.  After process is complete, waste is reduced to half its original volume. 

Autoclave Process
Waste bags are loaded by a dumping mechanism into assigned carts and then elevated and deposited in the autoclave.  The latch is closed and the autoclave cycle begins. 

Autoclave Cycle

1) Prevacuum: insure contact between steam and waste in the next cycle. 
2) Heating: disinfects through temperature - 140º Cº.
3) Ventilate: Steam exits, condensing until atmospheric pressure is reached.
4) Post vacuum: Waste is dried and odors removed. 
5) Ventilate: depressurizing until atmospheric pressure is reached.  Withdrawing carts with disinfected waste.
