  Desler,, through de APAER (Asociación de Padrinos de Escuelas Rurales) Sponsors school Nº 478 located in Quitilipi, in Chaco.
  
  We are in constant contact with authorities at that school to learn news about students, teachers and the community.
  
  Corporate volunteering
  Periodically contribute with food, clothes and reading material.  3 volunteers from Desler participate in this activity and are in charge of communicating, collecting and sending donations. 

• Fundación Hospital Garrahan

  Desler participates in the paper recycling done by Fundación Garrahan and supplies used paper that will later be recycled.

• Open Doors

  Our plant is open to the community.  School and universities that are interested in learning more about our activities can visit the plant.
  Visits are guided by trained personnel that can explain the different treatments involved and answer questions our visitors may have.
  
  
  

• The community of Malvinas Argentinas
  

  Desler’s plant is located in the borough of Malvinas Argentinas and actively participates in activities that take place in this location.

  • Expo Malvinas
    
    

    Exposition organized by the borough of Malvinas Argentinas in order to promote activities that companies in this location provide. 
    There is a model competition (the models are made with recycled paper) and environment drawings competition held between different schools in the district.  Desler awards the winning school with a trip to Mundo Marino in San Clemente del Tuyú (Buenos Aires province).  In 2006 school ETB Nº 3 in Los Polvorines won first prize.
    This activitie allows many children to see the sea and sea life and have an unforgettable experience.

  • Collecting Hazardous Waste
    
    Desler collects hazardous waste in Malvinas on a daily basis totally free of cost.
    
    
  • Taking care of parks
    

    Desler collaborates with the Municipio de Malvinas to improve old parks and open new parks for the community
    
    

• Training

  Desler supports training all of its direct collaborators on a permanent basis.  In December 2006, our company managed a training project that consisted in helping employees who had dropped out of high school get their high school diploma. 
  In order to do this, different schools in Malvinas Argentinas were contacted.  Fortunately, eleven plant operators have gone back to school to get their diplomas.
